One Lucky Guest Will Win A Chance to go “Glamping” in Dino-Rama
Last week, Disney announced that one lucky sweepstakes winner will get to spend the night camping in Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Fresh off the heels of that announcement, the next “glamping” adventure to take place after that contest concludes was unveiled today. One lucky winner and up to four other guests will get to spend the night in Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Glamping is a blending of the words “glamour” and “camping” and describes a style of camping that combines nature with modern amenities. It’s a way to experience the untamed and completely unique parts of the world like Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama — without having to sacrifice creature comforts.
The contest does not have an official start date but one could reasonably assume that it will start shortly after the current sweepstakes concludes. The grand prize winner will spend a night right in the middle of Dino-Rama on the warm and weathered asphalt as they explore everything this unique “land” has to offer.
“We’re very excited to give one lucky guest the chance to explore all of the hidden secret of Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama,” said Thomas Jefferson Geronimo III, conspicuously leaving off the “S” in “secrets.” Geronimo, the Vice President of the Disney Sweepstakes Division continued, “Guests have been clamoring for a chance to spend the night inside Dino-Rama every since this section of the park opened and now one lucky guest and their family will enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience!”
Geronimo mentioned that most of the attractions in Dino-Rama will be closed throughout the night. The sweepstakes winner and their guests will be forbidden from exploring anywhere else in the park, including nearby Dinoland, USA.
“We will keep the ring toss open, though,” Geronimo said.
