Tyler Perry To Sponsor Madea Tea Party The iconic Mad Tea Party attraction in Fantasyland will soon get a makeover and a new sponsor. Disney announced a partnership deal with Tyler Perry to integrate his characters into attractions. The first change will include removal of any Alice in Wonderland references to the Mad Tea Party. Ride Closure Makes Magic Kingdom A Half-Day Park

Tron Construction Will Temporarily Close Two Rides: With the construction set to begin on the Tron roller coaster, Disney announced some scheduled closures of nearby rides. One of the casualties will be the Walt Disney World Railroad as well as the Tomorrowland Speedway. Both rides will need to close to accommodate the new ride’s construction. Liberty Belle River Boat Installing “Insane” Mode

Insane Mode Makes Ride Liberty Square’s First E-Ticket Attraction — One of the most common complaints from guests who board the Liberty Belle Riverboat at the Magic Kingdom is that it is much too slow. Disney Imagineers will soon install an “Insane” mode to increase the paddle boat’s top speed.
